From July 14, new rules for entry into the Russian Federation

From July 14, new rules for entering the Russian Federation will apply.
Presenting a negative PCR test for COVID-19 SHOULD:
all foreign citizens and stateless persons, regardless of age, entering the territory of the Russian Federation from the territory of:
Azerbaijan,
Moldova,
Tajikistan
Turkmenistan,
Uzbekistan
member states of the EAEU (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan).
*The test result must be displayed in the Travel COVID-19 Free app, taken no earlier than 48 hours before arrival.
**Citizens of Turkmenistan can provide the result of a laboratory test on paper or electronic media.
to all foreign citizens and stateless persons, regardless of age, following in transit through the territory of the Russian Federation.
*This category of passengers must present a medical certificate of a negative PCR test result for COVID-19, taken no earlier than 48 hours before arrival.
** The certificate is presented in printed form, in Russian or English (a notarized translation into Russian is accepted).

Exceptions: Presenting a negative PCR test for COVID-19 DOES NOT:
citizens of the Russian Federation;
citizens of the Republic of Belarus.
